Roma Primavera earned three important points away to Inter with a 2-0 victory over the undefeated league leaders. Goals from Filippo Basile , who produced a splendid move, and Antonio Arena decided the match.
At the end of the match, coach Mattia Scala commented on the success on the official channels of the Giallorossi club, focusing on the team's reaction after the latest results and on Basile 's performance.

Scala: "The boys played an extraordinary match."
Mister, what value does a victory against the top-seeded, undefeated team have?
"This victory is significant given the current situation we're experiencing in the league, where we haven't achieved what we deserved. The victory gives us a lot of self-esteem and confidence. So I'd like to give the boys a big round of applause, because they played an extraordinary game."
A performance like this can't be invented. How was it built up these days?
"We had the opportunity to work together for a few days and tweak some aspects of our game. I have to say that the boys took on a lot of responsibility after the Genoa match. They got down to work, increased the intensity of their training, and were very upset about the recent results. This victory is definitely the result of hard work."
What was the decisive moment of the match?
"I liked the approach. Coming here, to a top-seeded, undefeated Inter side, who also scores a lot in the opening minutes, and facing them with the same level of character we showed this time around, was a real pleasure. I have to say it was a near-perfect match at times."
The team deserves credit, but Basile's goal was a superb one. What did you think of that play?
"I've known Basile since he was little, and seeing him score a goal like that was incredibly moving. We spent many years together, he faced major challenges, and it really shaped his character. He's never satisfied, he always pushes hard. Sometimes he makes mistakes due to excessive impetuosity, but he's a golden boy, and I'm happy he scored his first goal in this location, and that it was such a beautiful goal."
Now we're off to Manchester. What will the approach be like?
“It's going to be a tough buildup, we'll be traveling a lot, we need to prepare well because it will be a crucial match for paving our way to Europe.”
