At the Teatro dei Sogni, Roma are aiming for a major coup . At Old Trafford, the Giallorossi will face a Manchester United side that has suffered a Champions League disaster, and they want to return to Trigoria with all three points in their pockets and give the fans a magical night. Gian Piero Gasperini led the pre-match training session and will have some doubts to resolve right up until the final seconds.
Mario Hermoso and Evan Ndicka are certain of their places in defense , ready to defend Pierluigi Gollini 's goal . The trio will be completed by one of Leonardo Balerdi – who trained today with a bandage – and Gianluca Mancini , with the number 23 ahead in the ballot. There will be no changes on the wings: Nahuel Molina and Wesley will take care of running back and forth on the flanks.
Marten De Roon is certain to play in midfield , but the attacking lineup remains to be finalized. If Gasperini opts for substance, he will have two midfielders alongside him: Niccolò Pisilli and Bryan Cristante up front. Up front, there are few doubts: the offensive maneuver will be entrusted to Mati Soulé , while Donyell Malen will focus on finishing.
