After ten matchdays of the championship, Roma and Lazio have rewritten a Serie A record. The two teams from the capital have in fact won 52 points out of 60 available , setting a new record in the top Italian competition.
Never since the return of Serie A to 20 teams , therefore since the 2004-2005 season , had two teams from the same city collected so many points in the championship.

Roma and Lazio break records: Milan's precedent has been beaten.
This figure was reached after Lazio 's 2-1 victory over Cagliari this afternoon at the Olimpico , which allowed the Biancocelesti to move up to 28 points in the standings. This, combined with Roma 's 24 points , which were won 5-2 yesterday at Udinese , makes 52 between them.
To find a similar performance, we have to go back to the 2021-2022 season, when Inter and Milan had collected a total of 49 points in the first ten matchdays.

Does the number of teams have any impact on the statistics after 10 rounds? What about the last 100 years?
