Alarm bells ring in Roma just hours before kick-off at Old Trafford against Manchester United. After losing Mile Svilar to injury a few weeks ago, Gian Piero Gasperini 's team risks losing Pierluigi Gollini as well.
The Giallorossi goalkeeper could be on the bench tonight due to a back problem. In the next few hours, the Roma team will determine if it's a fixable issue, otherwise one between Vasquez and De Marzi will be forced to don gloves and defend the Giallorossi goal.
Gollini's warning: who's going in goal against United?
The former Napoli and Atalanta goalkeeper is struggling with a slight back injury and is gritting his teeth to try to be available tonight. Otherwise, however, Gasperini will be forced to field a third or even fourth goalkeeper.
Furthermore, Svilar's return continues to draw closer. The Giallorossi number 99 will be fully available to the team after the international break: the last matches he will miss will be today's match in Manchester and the next league match at the Olimpico against Sassuolo.
