Matheus Cunha was one of the key players in Manchester United 's comeback victory against Roma yesterday . Coming off the bench, the Brazilian scored twice to make it 3-2 at Old Trafford before being sent off late on. In an interview with CBS Sports Golazo after the match , the Brazilian said: "I find these interviews more frightening than the game itself. My English isn't great. It was a blessed day for me. My first goal was a mistake by the defender and a nice pass from Shea Lacey. The second goal... I don't remember very well."
As reported by Voetbal International , Cunha recounted a curious episode regarding his celebration, when he almost ended up in the section occupied by Roma fans: “It's a very Brazilian thing. I've been dreaming of a celebration like that for years. It was a bit risky, though. I knew the away section was somewhere in that corner, so for a moment I was afraid I'd jump right into the Roma fans. Luckily, I was welcomed with open arms .” The Brazilian also hopes the win can turn United 's season around : “We're trying everything. Nights like this will help us. The second half was truly Manchester United, with passion and determination. Let's hope this is a comeback that turns our season around.”

UEFA clarifies Cunha's case after his expulsion against Roma.
Meanwhile, there has also been some news on the disciplinary front. Cunha, booked for removing his shirt during a celebration and subsequently sent off for a second yellow card after a challenge on Balerdi , returned to the pitch after the match to celebrate with his teammates. This behavior raised concerns about a possible extension of his suspension, with Carrick promptly warning him to return to the locker room.
However, as the Manchester Evening reports , UEFA has ruled out further action against the striker. The European body has clarified that the incident was not included in the match records and therefore there will be no further suspension.
