Endrick won't stay at Real Madrid for the entire season . That, at least, is his intention. With just 112 minutes played this season and only one goal, scored at the Olimpico against Roma , the Brazilian wants to play a more central role to continue his development, aiming to become a world-class player.
And staying on the bench is not in the plans of the 2006-born player. The Blancos' number 9 – as reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com – will ask to be loaned to the 'Merengues', and the Romans are still waiting . Gian Piero Gasperini has high regard for the young striker, Tony D'Amico will try to bring him to Trigoria.
Roma remains on the lookout for Endrick
It remains to be seen whether José Mourinho will grant Endrick's request. During the Champions League final at the Olimpico on October 14th, Mourinho, Gasperini, and the Blancos' number 9 discussed the possibility of a January transfer. Roma's coach dodged the issue on the eve of the match : "I don't think I'll ask Mourinho. It's just something that doesn't interest us right now."
In the post-match, however, the Portuguese protected the 2006-born player : “There is no possibility of him leaving on loan in January. I trust Endrick, I adore him” . The centre-forward, however, remained vague : “I am a Christian, so I leave everything in God's hands and live day by day. If I have to leave in January, I will leave. If I have to stay, I will stay. I will do what God puts in my heart” . One thing is certain, the scenarios are constantly evolving between now and January, and the Romans will have to deal with the competition.
